As a long-time fitness enthusiast, I’m thrilled to add Yoga and Reiki certifications to my list of qualifications. I’m a firm believer in staying active and discovering what brings joy and movement to our life. For me, yoga is a time of self-care, physical health and listening to my body. I love the inter-connectedness of strength and grace within yoga and how each posture not only builds my physical capacity but more importantly my inner strength and resiliency. I’m proud to have dedicated my career to the social services sector where I have the privilege of advocating for change and leadingorganizational initiatives for seniors, youth and young victimsMy career also taught me the importance of work-life balance and taking the time to listen and address our own needs for health and grounding. My teaching style guides me to be creative and nurturing; using class structure and music to creating a safe and fun atmosphere and meeting each student’s individual needs. When I’m not in a studio, you’ll find me singing along to a country tune as I ride by ebike to boot camp or being walked-by my golden doodle, Maggie-Ray.  I love the camaraderie and positive energy that is created in a yoga class and I look forward to spending time with others as we create and celebrate a welcoming and inclusive space of self-discovery.
